TOOTH BONDING

Restore your smile and regain confidence with tooth bonding, a versatile cosmetic dental treatment offered at Apex Dentistry. Led by Dr. Mojgan Salehi and our skilled team, tooth bonding provides a simple yet effective solution to repair minor imperfections and enhance the appearance of your teeth.

Understanding Tooth Bonding

Tooth bonding, also known as dental bonding, is a cosmetic dental procedure that uses a tooth-colored composite resin material to repair and reshape teeth. Whether you’re dealing with chipped, cracked, discolored, or misshapen teeth, tooth bonding can help restore your smile’s natural beauty. The composite resin is carefully applied to the affected tooth or teeth, sculpted into the desired shape, and then hardened with a special curing light, resulting in a durable and aesthetically pleasing restoration.

Why Consider Nightguards?

Bruxism, or teeth grinding and clenching, can have detrimental effects on your oral health, including:

• Wear and tear on tooth enamel
• Fractured, chipped, or broken teeth
• Jaw pain, headaches, and facial muscle tension
• Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders

OUR TOOTH BONDING PROCESS

During your initial consultation, Dr. Salehi will assess your dental concerns, discuss your cosmetic goals, and determine if tooth bonding is the right treatment option for you.

The tooth-colored composite resin material will be carefully applied to the tooth and sculpted into the desired shape to correct imperfections such as chips, cracks, or gaps. Once the desired shape is achieved, the resin will be hardened with a special curing light.

In most cases, tooth bonding requires minimal preparation of the tooth surface. Dr. Salehi will gently etch the tooth to create a rough surface for better adhesion of the bonding material.

After the bonding material has been hardened, Dr. Salehi will further sculpt and polish the restoration to ensure a seamless blend with your natural teeth, creating a beautiful and natural-looking result.
